Krishna Lal in a Nehru-era cultural archive
This archival image ties Krishna Lal’s story to an earlier
chapter of India’s cultural history. The photograph places her
alongside Jawaharlal Nehru and appears to document a museum or
design-led exchange from the late 1950s or early 1960s, rather
than the 1970s. It reinforces the depth of her connection to
India’s institutional art world long before Krishnayan was
established.
